Welcome to the 13th Ave BMX Club, Regina’s home for grassroots BMX racing, skill development, and family-friendly competition.
Whether you’re brand new to BMX or returning for another season, this page walks you through membership costs, what’s included, licensing requirements, and how to register.

How old do riders need to be?
Riders are eligible to start BMX if they turn 5 years old by December 31 of the current calendar year.
Example: If a child turns 5 at any time during this year (even on December 31), they are eligible to ride this season. If they do not turn 5 until next year, they will need to wait until next season.
There is no upper age limit in BMX is for kids, teens, and adults.

Membership Fees (2026 Season)
Membership fees help cover track maintenance, equipment, coaching support, and event operations.
Club Membership Fees (per family):

First rider: $125.00 + Volunteer Bond

Second rider: $125.00

Third rider: $75.00

Fourth rider: FREE
💡 Membership fees are paid once per season and are required before participating in practices or races.

Your 13th Ave BMX Club membership includes:

✔ Weekly practices and race nights

✔ Eligibility for local and district racing
✔ A safe, inclusive, and family-oriented BMX environment
🚴♂️ Rider Classes (Novice / Intermediate / Expert)
Riders are placed into classes based on ability and experience, not age alone.

Novice: New riders learning race basics

Intermediate: Riders with race experience and developing skills

Expert: Advanced riders with consistent race performance
Class movement happens through racing results and is governed by UCI BMX rules.
🪪 Saskatchewan Cycling Association License
All riders must hold a valid BMX racing license.
License options include:

Challenge Membership – Most common for club and provincial racing

UCI RacingLicense – Required for out of province, national, or international competition

Community Membership – Entry-level option for introductory participation (NO RACING)
Licenses are purchased separately and are not included in club membership fees.

🤝 Volunteer Bond (Required)
The Volunteer Bond supports the volunteer-run nature of our club and helps ensure race nights and events run smoothly.
